I have absolutely no clue what chizu might be, and nor apparently does the internet.

I imagine they mean チーズ (Chiizu) Which is what you get if you take the Word Cheese and get a Japanese person to pronounce it.
What they've actually put is the Japanese for map.

I struggle to think why they'd want to mean either of those things.

Cheese isn't exactly uncommon as something on a burger. Although why they wouldn't just call it cheese, I'm somewhat at a loss.

I expect there was a cheese element to the burger, I can't recall precisely.

MeatMarket recognise me and know my name without me needing to tell them now, which is both awesome and shameful in equal measure.

The man in the sweet shop knows me as 'The Salt Liquorice lady' due to the amount of salmiakki that I buy, and seems to notice every change I make to my hair or what I am wearing. And today he gave me a special sweet jar to hold my salmiakki collection as it was too much to go in a bag like a mere mortal might carry their sweets...

I dan't know whether to be ashamed.

Sure. All the more reason not to waste stomach space on mediocre burgers.

Sure, people do rave about them. Plus they're about eight quid.

The superfattypatty special burger at MeatMarket is pretty damn good at the moment.

Bone marrow infused hand chopped beef patty *2
Lemon ponzu
Chili mayo
Chizu
Fried Egg
mizuna leaves
yakiniku sauce
pickled red onions
It's not that I object to novelty, but if it's too tall to fit my mouth around and/or I can't taste any beef then it's not a burger any more. And fried eggs should always have runny yolks but runny yolks are a menace in a sandwich. I'm fairly sure I still have egg yolk in my beard from the fried egg and bacon sandwich I ate for lunch.

Using a pretentious name for pretentious cooking is somewhat reasonable ;) For cheese in a bloody burger, not so much.

Turns out root canals aren't as fun as they sound. Fucking hell.

Need to go back next week for a 2 hour session as well as the 90 minute one I just had, as apparently I have unusual teeth with more canals in them than usual. That combined with my freakishly high resistance to local anaesthetic makes it a fun time for all involved.

I knew there'd be an excuse for how long it's taking you to sort out all of the night actions. The lengths some people will go to...

Only joking, I've had it done, it will be worth it when it heals. Hope you're not feeling too bad. :luv:

The Bloody Mary one is best imo

Nope, does nothing for me. It might be a browser issue; I've only got access to IE8 and FF24 here at work.

Are you on the Bing.com site or just using your 'new tab' homepage? It just shows a blank white screen for me when opening a new tab, but if i go to the url it works.

Not a good week for spacecraft.

That unmanned one that blew up was self destructed too.
