I think being on the fence about fracking and privatised railways probably pushed them over the line for me. Either that or for three months of the year I go all fascist.

Anyone knows offhand who runs that site? I've seen these ones before where the site is run by a minority party trying to show how great their policies are.

No, but it covers politics in about 30 countries so unlikely to be run by any U.K. Political group

Plus, what are the Royal Marines doing in Regiments? Have they been taken over by the Army? I'm starting to doubt the veracity of your answer, MaliA!!!

It's a bit odd how you can be 62% Labour, 61% Lib Dems and also 57% Conservative. If all the major parties are that close, you may as well just pick one based on how much you like the colour of their logo.

You've uncovered the reason I vote Lib Dem.

The BNP still exist don't they but I didn't think that Nick Griffin is their leader anymore?

Not that I actively keep up with them you understand, I cannot stress that enough.

For me Labour and Green ended up being higher (69%) than the SNP (67%). Not surprised about Green, but a little with Labour. Tories are, unsurprisingly, right down at 35%

Nothing for St Piran? There goes the Cornish vote.

One or two more bank holidays would be good, especially if it helped to spread the breaks more evenly over the year.

St David and At Patrick are in March, St George in April. Between the beginning of March, and end of May there will be 7 bank holidays!

I think this could be a master stroke, every year the more right leaning people on my Facebook timeline are always pleading for St George's day to be a bank holiday!

Because that has worked out so well for France... idiots.

I note Tim Farron's getting a lot of stick for not saying if he thinks gay sex is a sin or not. It doesn't matter what he thinks about it: what matters if he wants to stop others doing it. That's kind of what liberalism's about, but doesn't make as good headlines.

I'm not a fan of golf or the so-called golfing community, but what they do on the grass with sticks is their business so long as it doesn't hurt me or other people.

Indeed, and his voting record on the subject is pretty close to ideal.

No, they do this every so often. It gets close, then the 367th Republic remembers the wars and goes the other way.
