I thought the Lib Dems were generally against bombing Middle Eastern countries without UN mandate?

I think there's a pretty good moral argument for military intervention in Syria - a brutal, long-running civil war with the use of chemical weapons and a large number of civilian deaths and refugees seems like the sort of thing we should be intervening in, if we ever do in anything. However, if we do we'll have to do it *properly*, and that means a peacekeeping force and some sort of plan of how we want the post-war process to look. This sort of half-arsed intervention is just the worst of both worlds

I think this has leaked over from some strange alternative timeline where Corbyn is PM. £10 minimum wage, the Nationalisation of the Wind is well under way, all crime has been made illegal and all competitive sport has been replaced with a co-operative version where everyone works together to ensure we all win.
