Goat Simulator is the latest in goat simulation technology, bringing next-gen goat simulation to YOU. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true! WASD to write history.

Gameplay-wise, Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. It has been compared to an old-school skating game, except instead of being a skater, you're a goat, and instead of doing tricks, you wreck stuff. Destroy things with style, such as doing a backflip while headbutting a bucket through a window, and you'll earn even more points! Or you could just give Steam Workshop a spin and create your own goats, levels, missions, and more! When it comes to goats, not even the sky is the limit, as you can probably just bug through it and crash the game.

Disclaimer: Goat Simulator is a completely stupid game and, to be honest, you should probably spend your money on something else, such as a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat.

But it's windows only, and you wouldn't want to use that momentarily because windows isn't "joy" ful.

I put up with it when it's required. It's less and less these days though, thankfully.

But why bother playing goat simulator when you can just as easily have fun playing OSX

Goat Simulator Official Launch Trailer: is this the greatest video game of all time?

Even before its feverishly anticipated release, Goat Simulator is being talked about as the greatest video game of all time. Explosions; mayhem; farm animals: this extraordinary game has it all. Take 24 and swap Jack Bauer with a goat and this is what's left: Goat Simulator.

Goat Simulator will be available on PC and was created by developers Coffee Stain Studios. It is scheduled for release in early April. Some rumours suggest it will have a multiplayer function, allowing players to compete simultaneously online in a "herd mode". According to its developers: "Goat Simulator isn't really about what it's like to be a goat. It's about being a really fast goat that wrecks stuff."

Reception within the gaming world to Goat Simulator's trailer has bordered on the hysterical, with many gamers noting similarities between Goat Simulator and Dead Island, a game that also featured an iconic launch trailer.

Some people in my office think it's awesome, but from what I saw of them playing it on phones, it seems to have a limited shelf life to me, once the originality wears off.
