It's going to be a couple of days max between them, I can wait if need be :)

I thought you wanted to be able to take it back to a store?

I did, but it's not the end of the world. The motorola returns process seems pretty good after talking to them on the phone.

Well sod ya then :)

I suspect the 360 won't be with me today, considering it was in Memphis a few hours ago according to the fedex website :D

It was meant to arrive yesterday, while I was in the office. Got a text from DPD at 6pm saying it would be delivered tomorrow. Rang JL, said I need it sending to the billing address (I'm at home today), woman said this was all cool.
It was delivered to London at 9:43 this morning.

Obviously.

Just think how much quicker you could have found all that out if only you could read emails and texts on your wrist.

It left Memphis at 4:26am apparently. Although I have no idea what timezone they are reporting that in, could be local, could be China as that is where it started out.

Post subject:  Re: Wearable Tech

I was, until Motorola told me they had lied to me, and they didn't actually cancel my order, and shipped it anyway.
I cancelled the John Lewis one after that.

Post subject:  Re: Wearable Tech

John Lewis seem to be claiming that their 2 year electricals warranty doesn't apply to the Moto360. That could make for some interesting conversations in the future, I imagine.

Don't think so. If I say enough words some of them are bound to be funny eventually. FACT.

Hey, does GazChap's Technohat count as wearable tech?

Author:  Doctor Glyndwr [ Sat Nov 01, 2014 0:16 ]
Post subject:  Re: Wearable Tech

...not really, I'd argue. I mean it's wearable in the strictest definition of the word but as a jargon term for a class of tech "wearable" also implies "mobile."
