I think my 360 would die if I tried to play a game on it

£30 in real-life shops. I didn't bother.

Why, what have you done to it?

It's just old and on the verge of going all RRoD on me. Won't even work unless in well ventilated area and stood up; often just stops outputting audio when it's been on for a while; sounds like a jumbo jet taking off etc.

Cheers for the offer. I use the 360 so rarely for anything other than watching telly that I shall persevere with it until it dies.

I tried to read the backstory. It was so badly written that I just couldn't seem to make sense of it. It was like as I was reading the words all the ones from the previous sentence were being erased from my brain. So I'm still none the wiser.

I read 3 pages and jacked it in. I'm sure most of it relates to the PSP games, Portable Ops, far as I know.

Killing the two marines was one of my better efforts. I managed to waste them both and get a "B". I got detected but managed to do it with no collateral damage. I can't quite recall how I killed the first one but the second one I chased down his jeep and rammed it after I'd snuck around the back and stolen an APC. Then just drove on out of the base.

This HD collection brings together definitive editions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, 3: Snake Eater and the previously PSP-exclusive Peace Walker.

Brilliant game, comes with Metal Gear 1&2 which isn't mentioned in the description, the graphics are sooo so nice, very crisp, controls are perfect just like the originals but on the bigger more comfortable Xbox controller, loading times are good and audio is also very good. For the games, mgs2 camera angles are something to get used to but once you do it's brilliant, MGS 3 snake eater is actually the subsistence version and has the improved fully controllable 3D camera angle stuff, Peace walker is brilliant works great on the Xbox, game comes with 2 disks, 1 for MGS 2&3 and 1 for peace walker. The manual is also really good with loaaaddddssss of content (all 3 full manuals for all 3 games with possibly a bit of extra content) I believe there's also some extra content on the disks that you can look at too. altogether no experienced glitches, brilliant purchase and great value for money

it is actually slightly misleading as it does not have 3 games. it has 5. it also inculds metal gear 1 and 2. people who don't know about this go onto the metal gear 3 part of the disk and they are at the menu screen.

The first MGS was Playstation exclusive, wasn't it?

I downloaded the free MGS game on Xbox One the other day and started playing it last night. It's great and has reminded me how much I loved the original but sadly I never played any more. Anyway, I did a wee search on amazon on the off chance I could get them now and look!

So, has anyone played this? If so, does it have the first one in it? Some of the reviews seem to suggest it does but it isn't mentioned in the product description. Also, is there any perceptible difference between the 360 and PS3 versions?

I own it on t'xbox. It does indeed not have MGS1 in it, but you can get the PS1 version on PS3 separately.

The MSX2 versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake are also included on all three versions.

The American and European console versions of the collection include HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in one package, as well with the MSX2 versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

Ok cool. So is MGS1 the only thing missing in this collection then if I wanted to get up to date?
