Do you mean you can't see those odd pictures, or that you can't see 'depth' at all?

The latter, but it's more complicated than that. The majority of a persons sense of depth comes from environmental clues and your brain figuring it all out. I've still that. As it's only within a few meters of your eyes that stereoscopic vision is actually at play. And that I don't have.

Maybe I've misunderstood, but are the symptoms pretty similar to just shutting one eye? Although with a full field of vision.

Aye.

To be fair I couldn't thread a needle when I could see in 3D. But yeah.

And yeah, LewieP's right. But with some double vision some/most of the time.

Does 3D at the cinema still "work"?

I thought it did in avatar. But I dunno. I thought I had 3d vision back then anyhow.

Didn't seem to in avengers.

Flippin' weird, that one was. Cost more than 30 quid on launch, and had 4 hours gameplay, and only because you had to complete all the stages with the different submarines. I guess it shows how desperate Nintendo were for games to release in the 3DS's earliest months.

You should buy a 3DS

I'd shop around an get an XL though, it's too superior over the original 3DS, really. Argos are doing the XL cheap at the moment, in fact there's where I bought the one I got for my brother's birthday present.

Hmmm, doesn't say but I hope it doesn't effect the "too many games" promotion.

I'm thinking of getting Animal Crossing as my 'free' game so i have it as a download since its the type of game I can see me dipping in and out of at different times (its that or Fire Emblem I think)

I'm the same. I've got Luigi's Mansion 2 already and was going to get Donkey Kong. It was either Animal Crossing or Fire Emblem that I get as the download.

[B]IDEA[\B] if you've yet to register your DS and MH game (like me):
1) make a throwaway Nintendo account.
2) register your MH cart to it and obtain gift code.
3) register your DS to your proper account.
4) redeem gift code in proper account for a free MH download.
5) sell cart.
6) profit.

Now could you do this and have this "gift" count towards the too many games promotion?
Currently I've just bought MH 3 and DK and a 3ds XL, one game purchase away from a free game, or just do this and save some cash?

I suppose you could not link your 3ds to your real account but might that fuck up if you need to get stuff transferred later (apparently the DRM from Nintendo is bloody stupid due to no user accounts).

I've bought two games, but only really want one other game from the selection, so if anyone has any codes they are not planning on using, I would love you forever and ever if you gave it to me. I could probably swap you some MS points and/or a bunch of Steam games that I have spare.

Argh. Fire Emblem of Animal Crossing for my free download.

I love fe. Didn't get on with AC on the DS. But still tempted as it as a download.

If I get fe I might never get ac. If I get AC I will still get FE in a couple of months.

They do, but they seem to be more expensive. Or they come with pointless stuff to make them seem more expensive, I'm not sure.

3DS XL £120 quick. Possibly £105, or £110

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/nintendo-3ds-xl-tesco-direct-119-104-with-code-1573682

The blue one is out of stock.

This code might give it for £105, TDXR-7TGW.

If that doesn't work try this one, TDX-PKMW, to get it at £110.

The first code only works for some people for some reason, the latter is apparently for new customers but I'm sure I've ordered stuff off Tesco before and it worked for me.

I reckon it might be. That or Monster Hunter Freedom Unite 2, since that's, like, erm, twice as big init?

Just checked and I can download it on Vita with the online functionality intact apparently. Lord knows, if anyone's still on the servers though.
