I was reading last night about a new show called 'You Can't Touch This' which was described as 'Mousetrap for humans' by where you scramble around a giant obstacle course which is littered with prizes and you can keep anything you touch. I think we should go on that. Like, all of us: the whole forum.

It sounds misnamed.

I did Google that. Google doesn't know either.

They probably settled some of them then. Maybe.

Don't they have to sign a ton of disclaimers and hold it in a foreign country (Argentina?) to prevent such lawsuits? Or is that nonsense of the Internet.

I thought that the sets were used by dozens of countries to all make their own versions, just having it somewhere sunny makes sense I suppose. No idea why Argentina in particular, though.

Why does your nieve ponder upon whether Kovacs has ever been on Total Wipeout?

Probably nonsense. You could still sue but Argentinian law would apply to liability I reckon.

Very weird looking game that i want to pick up just on the premise

http://store.steampowered.com/app/405640/

Quote:
Pony Island is a suspense puzzle game in disguise. You are in limbo, trapped in a malevolent and malfunctioning arcade machine devised by the devil himself. The devil detests having his puzzles solved and poor programming exposed; you will need to think outside the box to proceed and you will be insulted when you do.
In Pony Island you will...

Peer behind the rotting curtain of "Pony Island" to repair its broken code
Be forced to play along with The Devil's demented game of ponies
Explore the depths of the cryptic software system that runs His game

RPS : https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/0 ... e-of-2016/

Quote:
It’s a few hours long, but it crams so many neat ideas into that time. Quite how well the overall concept works, of Satan himself trying to get souls through a videogame, is rather questionable. But suspend disbelief on that. This is a game that had me both laugh out loud, and exclaim to my monitor how smart it was being (the game, not my monitor, although let’s not ignore how clever monitors are). There are moments that I desperately want to tell you about, because I think if you knew it had things like that, you’d be more compelled to play. But it would be awful to spoil any of those few best bits, so I shall instead force people I know to play it so I can then exclaim at them, “WHAT ABOUT THE BIT WHERE IT…!” But trust me when I say there are two in particular that are properly bloody clever.

Trains.... over new year we had a modern 'Thomas and Friends' DVD on regular play to keep a 2 year old amused (I prefer the Ringo Starr originals). A friend found it irritating that Sodor apparently uses a US signalling system.

Same reason cows think they are going on a super fun day trip when the 15 tonne lorry arrives at their field.

Having never seen it, I sang it to "Over The Hills And Far Away", it works quite well, you have to put quite a lot of syllables in 'Thomas' though.

Does the Hivemind have any preferred Cardboard viewers for an iPhone Plus? Ideally one that comes with a headstrap that would fit a childs head as well as an adults (which rules out goggle type eyepieces)

I only use my heated seats when I really 'have to' (about once every 3 years), as they're either still warming up and providing no benefit at that point, but once up to temperature they give the feeling that you've pissed yourself which I find distracting when I'm supposed to be driving a car.

No, if you've pissed yourself it goes cold and then it's horrible. Heated seats feel like you're endlessly pissing yourself, it's warming and quite nice.

The seat heater in mine is a bit broken, but actually makes it much nicer. The elements in the seat base don't work, but the ones in the seat back do. Nice warmth on your lower back and no pissed yourself sensation.
