Bones gets better. Fringe is worthless shite. And the lead character needs her face punched.

I don't think I've watched more than 2 episodes of Bones in order.* I quite like it though.

*Same with most of these detectivey programs. I don't care about the characters/dramas & just want to see the investigations 'n' shit.

I'll stick with Bones then. There seems to be a ton of eps out there of it.

Am ploughing through s5 of Boston Legal. It's been a real gem of a show.

Once Bones is done it'll be time for Dollhouse, Dexter and the mostly rubbish Smallville.

I do pretty much detest everyone in Smallville but I really liked the way they used Lex Luther. Even though he's not in it these days, I figure I might as well see how it all ends.

Fringe is ace fun, if rather ridiculous. The mental scientist is one of my favourite characters on TV.

It's basically X-Files: The Next Generation.

The first episodes of the new seasons of Bones and Lie To Me were on last night. Both good, though Bones is better, simply because the main characters are more fun.

He's OK, and the old dude's OK. She's fucking awful. It could have been the X-Files, but she makes it the Angst Files.

Finally ploughing my way through the first series of True Blood after downloading it and recommending it to Doccy Gee - ooh, about a year ago. I'm liking it tremendously though I do spend a considerable amount of time in each episode looking at Anna Paquin's physog and marveling at how it "could" be beautiful but isn't. Currently up to episode 7 (as in, have seen it) and it's pretty much awesome. I love the atmosphere and the writing and the character arcs - it feels tangibly sweaty (I know what it's like there having been to that neck of the woods if you excuse the pun). Alan Ball has done good again.

You'll get to know him. And hate him. And love him.

S2 is 12 eps long, I believe, and introduces a ton of new characters. As does S3, 4 and 5. But it doesn't stop being awesome.

Season two is definitely the most disorienting of the bunch there, given it changes to an entirely different set of criminals. It's still absolutely brilliant, mind.

Quote:
On June 19, 2009, it was announced that the reformatted ninth season of Scrubs would "shift from the hospital to the classroom and make med-school professors of John C. McGinley’s Dr. Cox and Donald Faison’s Turk." According to Lawrence, the ninth season will "be a lot like Paper Chase as a comedy," with Cox's and Turk's students occasionally rotating through the halls of Sacred Heart and encountering former series regulars. McGinley and Faison will be joined by "a quartet of newbies (most of them playing students)" as full-time regulars, while one of the freshmen "will be fairly famous.

The biggest change to the show on the upcoming season is a major cast revamp. Of the seven actors who have appeared in the show since the pilot, only Donald Faison and John C. McGinley are returning in regular roles (Neil Flynn was set to return had his new ABC show The Middle not been ordered to series[60]). Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke are set to reprise their roles as J.D. and Elliot respectively for the first six episodes of the season[62], Neil Flynn will return for the first episode[6]. Judy Reyes and Ken Jenkins will also return at some point during the season.[6][63] The new main cast as it stands so far includes Eliza Coupe[64] returning to the recurring role of Denise "Jo" Mahoney from season eight, Dave Franco as Cole, a charming, conservative, confidently stupid and incredibly entitled medical student whose family donated a wing to the school[65], Kerry Bishé will play Lucy - the new narrator for the show[6][66] and Michael Mosley has been announced as playing Drew,[66][67] a 30 year old having a last attempt at med school. Former Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham was rumored to be "at the top of [ABC's] wish-list" of potential big-name actors.[68]

I guessed both the identity of the murderer and Sam's secret quite early in the series, but still enjoyed it

Great characters, though "Sucky" is the least likeable of the lot. Have the first six eps of season 2 ready to watch.

All of the seasons are brilliant, even five, which is widely held as the worst. Season three is definitely the high point for me, though.

This week's Dexter had a stupid massive cliffhanger. I want to know what happens.

In other US TV news, I've started working my way through 30 Rock. It's quite good. I love Jack Donaghy.

30 Rock is aces.

I might not start Dexter S4 until I have it all. I watched S2 week-by-week and the last half-a-dozen episodes were agonizing.
