Just received a CV at work from a school leaver who says they "achieved" a grade U in GCSE science. Yet on the same CV, they say they completed a work placement in October 2014. How can you invent time travel and get a grade U at GCSE science?! Boggles the mind. |

Saw a house today, it's not the perfect house but it is pretty close, and the deal they are doing on it is good so we could probably move without needing to save any more, depending on the equity in the flat. However, we don't actually "need" the extra space, as nice as it would be, and it does have a couple of compromises in the house. The main issue is that it will double our mortgage, and almost certainly mean no Vegas trips for a while! Decisions, decisions... |
