Anyway, look at you pissing on Zardoz's chips.

Tell him how nice his bit of wire is!

I'm sorry :'(

It is actually an excellent looking cable, and I have no issue either with Zardoz, or the cable itself, simply the inelegant wording of the description.

Jealousy can bring out the worst in people. I've just had to learn to live with it.

Thanks for your support, Mimi x

It's a little late in the day for an 'apology'. And now your lies over the matter are just making things worse.

...you almost made me Cavey.

I have one just like it. I don't use it anymore.
I have bought a DVD copy of the 1993 production of "Much Ado About Nothing", directed and starring Kenneth Branagh. It's the first time I've bought a DVD new for *years*, and only because it is literally not on any digital platform anywhere.
You can watch Joss Whedon's version on Amazon Prime.
Oh we have. Mrs Squirt is in a stage production of it, so we're working through every available version, for research!

Is this the one with Keanununu in it?
If so, marvel at his being ‘ever so slightly’ out of his depth
I bought this. (Okay, it was a month ago, but still)
Oh! I bought a new guitar too. And some pedals. I’ll do the massive image megapost when I get home.
Yesterday I bought a thick rubber band to replace the broken one in a vacuum cleaner.

Today I can't find the rubber band.

I haven't even opened it... Pah.
You probably hoovered it up.
I’ve got loads. Should’ve asked me.
He'll bounce back.

If we're doing new guitar posts, I have:

#11:

I got this for free, in a tight state. Hours of polishing and new electronics, and it's a rather nice guitar.

And #12

While sourcing new pickups for #11, I spotted this and had to buy it. Its so very nice.

I did mean to start up a general musician thread to post a time line of the fixes to #11, but never got around to it.

The parts I did buy for it cost... quite a bit.

(Custom made pickups aren't the cheapest)
My dad made a couple of pickups in his time...

Anyway, panic over everyone. I've found that band.

Also Denzel in blue leather trousers. On a horse.
Here’s my setup currently. Any more pedals and I’ll have to start thinking about a pedal board.

No I still haven’t set the drum kit up.

Have you thought about Ridge Racer?
I like the Jackson, even if it does have too many strings.

.... Title?...

I almost bought the 8-string version, but thought I’d see how I got on with a 7-string first.
I can't play the 6 string ones, never mind the seven stringers!
I can do 3 buttons on guitar hero comfortably. Just about got the fourth one down too. 5 can fuck right off.

I just got a baritone guitar for that range (6 strings in BEADF#B). Unsurprisingly, this is about as easy as a standard 6 string.

Although I dare say there are significant stylistic differences. It's not really a guitar you'd choose for metal sounds.
The G7000 box is a bit of a beast.

Pretty small considering all the disappointment they managed to cram in there.
I had one of those that I bought from a boot sale. Think I only connected it up once.

Yes I'm not sure a baritone guitar and a seven string will sound too similar. I'm downtuned to A in any case (straight D with a low A). My six string is in double drop C (straight D with top and bottom D strings dropped to C).
It’s more beautiful than I expected!

Happy for you mate. Must have been the longest day at work ever!
I buyed Mini Cheddars. Or whatever the stupid name is now.

'Baked Crinklies' sounds like a dodgy Tumblr site.
Note that a serving is 25g, but they sell them in a 50g packet. Sneaky fucks.
The missus bought a bag of Tesco own brand Baked Crinkley equivalents the other day. 165g bag, but contains "55 servings". Who the hell has a serving of 3g of crisps?
I mean, I understand it's meant to show you the calories per crisp, but it's still dumb.
Now you should count them.
To me, a serving is what is in the packet.

16 rashers of bacon? 1 serving.
1 Jamaican Ginger Cake? 1 serving.
1 tube of Pringles? 1 serving.

I only apply that rule to packets of Jaffa cakes, as they go stale faster than you can eat them, anyway.

Costco sack of Doritos? One serving
A pig? One serving.
Aktiengesellschaft? One word.

Yes, a compound word.

At least I was more correct than "Volkswagen Audi Group". :D
