I just assumed the sex to be honest.

Is anyone else having problems with 360 marketplace? I'm trying to redeem the points I had for Xmas, but it keeps saying it's down at the last second.

I am going to get a food processor though, as it took freaking AGES to chop up all the onions, celery, carrots, garlic, peppers, etc...

I'd recommend getting one of the little ones that are specifically for dicing - as it'll piss you off having to wash up the food processor after just chopping some veg otherwise.

Something like this.

If you are trying to be healthy, you are better off eating the fruit rather than smoothies. As it burns more claories eating apples, celery, carrots, etc. Than drinking them in a liquid.

Only way to fat bust is to eat healthly and exercise..

Yeah - it was an excuse to post an amusing link to pills that make you poo oil. Not a serious suggestion.

If you go to this Guardian page and type in your email address, it gives you a link to a live track by Elbow called "Grounds for Divorce" that is just fucking utterly brilliant. (And you might win an iPod Nano.

Note: I don't work for t'Guardian.

How many times does the bbc weatherman need to say icy roads!?

Actual bbc 1 weatherman transcript*
"Well we don't really know what to say about the weather because we can't be bothered having to come back to work after Christmas. We do know it's going to be cold so in keeping with the apocalyptic feel of late 2008, here's a Met Office weather warning.....There'll be icy roads, especially in rural areas, lots of icy roads in Scotland and the north, be careful of icy roads if you're out tomorrow morning because no doubt there will be icy roads somewhere in the country. Except maybe in Northern Ireland. It might not be as cold over there, you should still watch out for icy roads however, as temperatures may drop below freezing, resulting in icy roads. So once again, that's coldness with a chance of icy roads. Enjoy your evening.

*before you write in and complain, it's not the actual bbc 1 weatherman transcript

I was playing Call of duty 4 last night  and I went to change my clan tag from XMAS as it isn't Christmas anymore. I went to change it to 'boob' and it wouldn't let me, so for comedy I tried 'bewb', and it wouldn't let me have that either!! FFS.

I was in Bristol on Saturday helping my brother take the massive telly he got for Christmas back to his flat. God, I'm going to miss that telly. :'(

Anyway, following the 300 mile round trip on gritted motorways, my lovely black car is now light-grey.

It is snowing in Godalming.
I want to go out in my car.
This is not practical with snowy roads.

Aside from getting 4 hours sleep because my sleep pattern is borked, I bought my monthly train pass today. I typed in my pin, it processed, it said remove card. I removed card. The cunt behind the screen then shouted at me because he reckons I removed the card prematurely and it didn't go through, so I did it again.

And I've just checked my bank balance. The statement hasn't updated yet but LO AND BEHOLD, my available balance is down by the tune of two £68 train tickets instead of one. If that resolves into a double charge I'm going to go fucking mental.
