Since we have a lot of junk food connasers on here, what would fill you with the most glee were you to suddenly find a surprise parcel landing on your doorstep?

I would have always said Minstrels, but I haven't had any for ages! :S

Minstrels are lush! But Revels are a close 2nd for me :) I even like the coffee, which apparently everyone should hate :/

Now I am back on my pills I can have no chocolaty goodness. :'( (Though I have been having the odd Penguin for "dessert" after meals. A little naughty, but they're small enough that I can just about get away with it.)

But if I were to have a big, proper chocolate bar, I would love a Double Decker.

Penny sweets and pick n mix, sherbet dib-dabs and those sweets on elastic that you can put around your nexk. Also, those long pencil things that are made of different coloured fruit liquorice, but have a soft centre running through them. All jelly sweets and foam bananas.

A proper pocket money banquet! Ooh, and midget gems!

Stuff that you could put in a bowl and it last for ages!*

(*An hour or so)

A big box of Refreshers would be quite nice. But I think I'd go for York Fruits. Or something juicy and fruity.

I remain more of a savoury person, however.

Oh, I love those, and the jelly shapes from Lidls. They make me far too hyper, though...

Ow, I could bathe in Jelly belly beans, they are so lovely, but so expensive. You can get boxes of them in Marks and Sparkles now, which though they don't have all of the flavours are a more affordable way of enjoying them.
What is a 'Ruffle' bar, DB? I googled it but didn't find anything.

Flying Saucers.

The parcel would be so suspiciously light, but I'd find it hard not to have a beaming smile when I opened it.

My fave choccies I buy are around christmas time and they are the Lindt chocolates, circular with the smooth-nearly-runny-inner chocolate :droool: can't have too many though as I feel sick after-or is it Lindor? I get those two mixed up. Oh, christmas can't be complete without a (It's not) Terry's (it's mine!) chocolate orange and also some orange matchsticks-mmm!

EDIT: I could never eat flying saucers, they were a bit too sour for me

Piece of advice.

Cybercandy near leicester square tube.

It's safest for us all if you never go there.

I really am not a sweet fan in any form, or wasn't until a friend came back from Hawaii with a box of chocolate coated macadamias. Now I'm addicted to the things.

OOoooh - and we used to have these hard sourball things at school. We used to have competitions to see how many of them people could stand to have in their mouth at once. I managed about 10 of the things, but couldn't taste any food for several days afterwards.

Sigh.

Happy days.

Anyone remember Space Dust? Small fragments of god-knows-what which literally exploded on your tongue? I think they banned it in the end.

Yes, and you can still buy it.

I think the idea that they banned it came about after a childhood urban myth that some kid ate some with some cola and his head exploded, or some such sillyness :p i think it was called 'Fizz Whizz' in the UK.

EDIT: Mr Chris - whaaaa?

I liked "Nerds", I think they were withdrawn from the market for a while though due to having psychosis-causing levels of sourness chemical in them.

Also yes, what uses? 8)

Nerds! Them's the things we used to have competitions with, and caused my temporary loss of my sense of taste. They were bonkers sour.

Yes. Uses. I can't say any more.

I am now.

And because I don't know what Mr Chris looks like, I'm imagining he is Skeletor. And He-Man has just walked in. And Skeletor/Mr Chris has a wide-eyed cartoon expression on his face that's a mix of shock, embarrassment and anger.

Luckily, his willy is buried deep in the bowl, so I don't have to imagine what on earth Skeletor's willy would look like. Logic would suggest that he doesn't have one, but he must do, because it's in the bowl of popping candy.

Maybe that's the only way he can feel anything down there any more.

Oh shit. And now He-Man has got his willy out (it's HUGE) and put it in the bowl of popping candy and they're rubbing their willies together in the bowl without making eye contact.

Thanks Mimi.
