I'm decidely unhappy about the locking of the bits and bobs thread, and the subsequent no-notice locking of anything resembling it. As has been apparent, a fair number of people like the bits and bobs thread, and it was, in fact, one of the founding thingies of BEEX. It appears to have been taken away (albeit for a fortnight "trial", but what the metric for that trial is isn't readily obvious) because one or two mods don't like it. Is that excellent? Is that democratic? No. If you've got a problem with it, have a poll, eh? And if there's an overwhelming "bits and bobs is killing BEEX" response then fine, get rid of it. Otherwise, leave alone. Light touch modding, remember? |
