Man, that was a hard group to vote on, I liked a lot of those.

But if you follow the link though to the youtube website the video plays. How odd. Hope this doesn't effect the votes.

I was aware of that version any way, it was only released a few years ago, so hopefully it will be fresh in people's minds.

I've now changed the link in the first video, so it's now pointing to a non-pulled version. Hopefully it hasn't affected the votes already cast (I can't tell, because I haven't voted yet).

My problem with the Electric 6 song is that it's basically identical to the original. So... what's the point? It's bringing absolutely nothing to the party. It's a good song (shut UP, it IS), but it's not a good cover. The version of Smells Like Teen Spirit's the same, to a lesser extent.

The Jonathon Coulton song is genius on a stick, mind. And 99 Red Balloons made me grin like an idiot. So yay for that.

Your theme for week four will be "Songs which have been on a 1980's movie soundtrack". Feel free to send over your nominations when ready.

Plus, there are still quite a lot of people still to make their choices for week three. I'm tapping my foot impatiently. Not sure why, as none of you can see me doing it.
